据新华社消息，美国总统特朗普25日再次威胁关闭美国之音，称该机构是民主党的“传声筒”。

特朗普当天在社交媒体上写道：“为什么共和党人想要让民主党‘传声筒’美国之音继续存在”，“消灭它”。

今年2月，时任美国政府效率部负责人马斯克率先表示要关掉美国之音。3月，美国之音的员工被要求强制休假。美国之音的主管机构国际媒体署6月表示，已向至少639名员工发出了解雇通知。自3月以来，美国之音员工总数减少了85%。

美国之音创办于1942年第二次世界大战时期，一直被美国共和、民主两党政府视为提升所谓国家软实力的重要工具。
