Tata Technologies (NSE:TATATECH, BOM:544028) in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), has launched the third edition of its flagship engineering innovation hackathon, InnoVent 2026, according to a Wednesday release filed with the Indian bourses.
The competition invites 3rd and 4th year engineering students across India to develop real-world solutions that address challenges in the smart mobility space.
This year's theme, "Innovating the Future of Smart Mobility", focuses on leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, IoT, cloud computing, digital twins, and AR/VR, the release said. Projects can span a wide range of mobility applications-from software-defined vehicles and sustainable transport to connected systems and immersive driving experiences, it added.
Top-performing teams will be mentored by Tata Technologies experts and gain access to AWS cloud platforms, hands-on workshops, and resources to scale their innovations.
Finalists will compete for cumulative cash prizes worth 450,000 Indian rupees, internship opportunities at Tata Technologies, and special recognition for creative and impactful prototypes, according to the release.
