6月24日，在锡林郭勒盟苏尼特左旗巴彦淖尔镇浑善达克沙地歼灭战飞播治沙现场，伴随着发动机的轰鸣声，满载灌草种子的飞机呼啸着冲向天空，开始执行飞播治沙任务。

机长凌志国告诉记者，此次飞播作业使用运-5（B）型飞机执行，采用穿插式作业方法进行，每次可搭载草种800公斤，每架次可飞播670亩左右，单日最高飞行架次可达20——25架次。

飞播治沙具有效率高、成本低、适应性强等特点，是生态修复的重要手段。在苏尼特左旗治沙现场，为确保飞播成效，工程人员前期已通过设置沙障、围栏封育等措施固定流动沙丘，为飞播灌草创造了良好条件。

苏尼特左旗林业工作站副站长杨鹏斐说：“本次飞播灌草选用的草种是杨柴、小叶锦鸡儿、沙米、沙蒿，通过飞播灌草方式提高植被覆盖度，增强防风固沙能力。”

截至目前，苏尼特左旗已经完成2万亩飞播面积。据悉，锡林郭勒盟今年飞播灌草任务为20万亩，主要在正蓝旗、苏尼特左旗、苏尼特右旗3个旗县重点沙源地进行飞播。
