降低对三星依赖：苹果为 iPad Pro 评估新 DDI 供应商

IT之家 6 月 25 日消息，韩媒 The Elec 昨日（6 月 24 日）发布博文，报道称苹果 iPad Pro 未来有望进一步收窄边框，带来更沉浸式的全面屏体验。
该媒体报道称从供应链消息称，苹果公司正评估乐尔幸半导体（LX Semicon）的显示驱动芯片（Display Driver IC，DDI），而该 DDI 采用了 LG Innotek 的覆晶薄膜封装（chip-on-film，CoF）技术，并会在本月公布评估结果。
LX Semicon 是全球排名前 12 的无晶圆厂公司, 成立于 1999 年, 于 2021 年从 LG 附属集团分拆出来。LX Semicon 提供从 MCU 到电机驱动 IC 的创新产品, 强化了其业务领域。
IT之家注：覆晶薄膜封装（COF）技术是将集成电路（IC）直接封装到柔性基板（通常是柔性电路板，FPC）上，可以有效减小显示面板的边框尺寸，从而提高屏幕的可视面积占比，带来更强的视觉冲击。
以去年推出的 OLED iPad 为例，苹果 iPad 所用的 DDI，为三星 System LSI 部门独家提供。此外在DDI市场上，三星公司排名第一。
对苹果来说，批准新的 DDI 供应商将带来诸多好处，包括给予 LG 更大的生产自由度和更多的收入，此外还能多元化 iPad 供应链体系。
不过该媒体指出，苹果对 LX Semicon DDI 的决定，不会影响 2025 年的 iPad 型号，也不太可能影响 2026 年初的发货。
