Defense Companies to Gain From NATO's Increased Spending Plans -- Market Talk

1501 GMT - Defense companies are expected to benefit from higher defense spending by NATO members, EFG Asset Management's Daniel Murray says in a note. NATO countries committed to raise defense spending to 5% of GDP at the summit on Wednesday. "This is undoubtedly - and obviously - good news for defence companies because they will benefit from the increase in spending in real and nominal terms," Murray says. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
