Odaily星球日报讯 Tether 首席执行官 Paolo Ardoino 表示，由 Tether 支持的脑机接口公司 Blackrock Neurotech 比马斯克旗下 Neuralink 先进得多。 2024 年 4 月， Tether 向 Blackrock Neurotech 进行了 2 亿美元的战略投资，成为该公司的多数股权股东。Blackrock Neurotech 由科学家兼脑机接口先驱 Florian Solzbacher 博士和 Marcus Gerhardt 于 2008 年在犹他大学创立。Tether 当时表示，利用 Blackrock Neurotech 的技术，患者可以操作机械臂、操纵轮椅、发送信息、上网，甚至驾驶汽车——所有这些只需通过意念的力量即可实现。（The Block）
