Jiangsu Rijiu Optoelectronics (SHE:003015) unit Zhejiang Rijiu will invest up to 822 million yuan to build a plant with an annual production of 6 million square meters of functional films.
The project targets growing demand for dimming conductive films, optical films and related coating products, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Construction is expected to take 24 months.
Shares of the optical component manufacturer closed 2% lower Friday.
