Kwoon Chung Bus Holdings Limited has announced its consolidated results for the year ended 31 March 2025. The Group reported a revenue of HK$2.53 billion, marking an increase from HK$2.10 billion in the previous year. The gross profit rose significantly to HK$661.9 million from HK$456.8 million in 2024. The increase in revenue is attributed to a recovery in the tourism sector and a rise in the number of tourists, setting a new record. Net finance costs decreased slightly due to a lower Hong Kong Interbank Offered Rate (HIBOR) compared to the previous year. The company also benefited from effective cost control measures that improved operational efficiency despite challenges such as inflationary pressures and labor shortages. The non-franchised bus segment, operated by Kwoon Chung Motors Company, Limited, remains a key contributor to the Group's performance. The Group continues to provide local non-franchised bus services along with other transportation services and travel agency operations. The outlook suggests that the Group will maintain its focus on enhancing operational efficiency and cost management to sustain financial performance.
