富国银行的利率和宏观策略主管Mike Schumacher认为，市场可能因美联储主席职位潜在候选人的言论而被误导，因为这些候选人可能故意采取鸽派立场，以提高被美国总统唐纳德·特朗普选中的机会。

　　“很明显，候选人希望展示鸽派的一面，来争取那个职位，”Schumacher表示。

　　“一旦美联储主席就位，总统实际上还能掌控多少？并不多”。

　　他补充称，交易员可能由于这些评论而对降息押注过于激进。

　　“从现在到9月/10月，到提名结果公布前，市场可能反应过度”。
