IT之家 6 月 27 日消息，据路透社昨日报道，互联网科技公司 Meta 已与再生能源开发商 Invenergy 签署四份新合约，采购 791MW 的太阳能与风力发电，以应对旗下数据中心激增的用电量。

IT之家了解到，Meta 此次采购是为了满足其数据中心的庞大用电需求，同时满足其 AI 计算的需求；去年 Meta 已与 Invenergy 签署了四份合约，采购了 760MW 的太阳能电力，此次再度合作，让两家公司累计的采购总量达 1551MW。

此次采购的电能将供应自美国俄亥俄州、阿肯色州与得克萨斯州，发电将直接送入当地电网，Meta 表示他们已经取得了相应的再生能源凭证，此次采购的具体财务细节并未公开。

此外，Meta 已在去年寻求核能开发商提交提案，以支持其人工智能和环境目标，并计划自 2030 年初期起，在美国增加 1 至 4 吉瓦的核能发电容量。
