0739 ET - Nike is rekindling partnerships with retailers, creating opportunities for improvement in fiscal 2026, Jefferies analysts say. Inventory is still high, but streamlining is on track and wholesale partners are responding well to inventory changes with holiday order books up year-over-year, the analysts say. In general, wholesale partnerships are improving: Nike has begun a collaboration with Urban Outfitters targeting Gen Z customers and has a curated an Amazon store featuring running, training and basketball products. "NKE continues to broaden its physical and digital reach to meet consumers wherever they are," the analysts say. Nike surges 11% premarket after guidance for the current quarter exceeded expectations. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
