Visagar Polytex (NSE:VIVIDHA, BOM:506146) said the National Stock Exchange (NSE) has imposed a fine of 18,880 Indian rupees for non-compliance due to a delay in submitting its Annual Secretarial Compliance Report, according to a Friday filing.
The textile and clothing manufacturer said it had filed the report on the BSE portal on May 30, but it was not successfully uploaded to the NSE portal the same day due to a technical error.
Upon discovering the issue during a review on June 9, Visagar Polytex said it promptly re-submitted the report and sent a clarification letter to the exchange on the same date.
