ParkerVision Inc. has announced the filing of a Rule 54(b) motion with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, seeking to enter a final judgment of noninfringement on its receiver claims. This move aims to sever and stay all remaining claims pending an appeal of the court's recent claim construction order from May 2025. The company believes the ruling, which prevents it from asserting its receiver claims, is in error and seeks to allow the Federal Circuit to address the dispute before proceeding to trial. Qualcomm has also filed a motion for partial summary judgment of noninfringement based on this order.
