Share registry group Computershare says the exclusion of a key shareholder from bookmaker PointsBet’s takeover vote was a one-off incident, and will conduct a review into the matter to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
Computershare on Thursday outed itself as the culprit behind the botched shareholder vote on the $402 million takeover by Japanese entertainment giant Mixi, conceding it had mistakenly excluded rival gambling group Betr from the poll.
