Li Ning's Sales Could Pick Up in 2H -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Jun 30, 2025

0359 GMT - Li Ning's sales are expected to regain some momentum in 2H, thanks to a lower base of comparison, Nomura analysts write in a research note. The Chinese sportswear company's sales declined from May to June, based on Nomura's channel checks. Li Ning's recent operational improvements, such as a breakthrough into NBA by one of its brand ambassadors, Yang Hansen, will provide long-term support for the company's brand recognition, the analysts say. Nomura maintains the stock's neutral rating and target price of HK$16.20. Shares are up 0.6% at HK$16.78. (amanda.lee@wsj.com)
