Simon Property Group Acquires Swire Properties' Interest in Brickell City Centre

Simon Property Group acquired Swire Properties' interest in the retail and parking at Brickell City Centre.

Brickell is a mixed-use property located in downtown Miami, Florida. The property has more than 90 retail stores, including Apple and Nike, and more than 15 dining and entertaining locations, including Tacology, according to the companies.

The real estate investment trust will fully own and manage the asset following the transaction, first announced on Friday.

Simon Property owned a 25%, non-managing interest in the retail at Brickell prior to the acquisition.

Other financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
