American Battery Technology (ABAT) shares rose 11% in recent Monday trading after the company said its Tonopah Lithium Flats Project has been selected as a transparency priority project by the US Federal Permitting Council.

The transparency priority project designation highlights the project's role in advancing domestic mineral lithium production and supporting US energy independence, the company said.

American Battery Technology said that the Tonopah Lithium Flats Project, located in central Nevada, is now featured on the FAST-41 permitting dashboard.

FAST-41 or Title 41 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act covered projects are entitled to comprehensive permitting timetables and transparent, collaborative management of those timetables on the federal permitting dashboard, the company said.
