0823 GMT - Swiss consumer-goods giant Nestle could stand out this earnings season in a sector where investors have concerns about companies' earnings prospects, Citi analysts say. Nestle's sales volumes and price mix are expected to be relatively uneventful for the second quarter, they say in a research note. The company's second-quarter organic sales growth is expected to reach about 3%, driven by a 0.2% rise in real internal growth--its key measure of sales volume--and a 2.9% pricing increase, according to Citi. Nestle seems a defensive play within a sector where companies like Haleon and Danone face second-quarter earnings risks or where names like L'Oreal and Beiersdorf could have to revise guidance later in the year, the analysts say. Shares fall 0.1%. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
