Market Chatter: Nasdaq Beats NYSE in First-Half IPOs

Nasdaq's (NDAQ) initial public offerings in H1 exceeded that of Intercontinental Exchange's (ICE) New York Stock Exchange, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing data from Dealogic.

IPOs on Nasdaq, including blank-check acquisition companies, raised about $21.3 billion, compared to $8.7 billion on the NYSE, according to the report.

Excluding blank-check companies, Nasdaq's 79 IPOs raised about $9 billion compared with NYSE's $7.8 billion, Reuters reported.
