BlockBeats 消息，7 月 3 日，OpenAI 官方发布声明，否认授权 Robinhood 推出相关代币化股票，所谓“OpenAI 代币”并非公司股权，也未与 Robinhood 建立任何合作关系或参与背书相关项目。OpenAI 强调，任何涉及公司股权的转让必须获得官方批准，而目前公司尚未批准任何此类交易，并呼吁公众保持警惕。
此前 Robinhood 发文表示，Robinhood EU 推出了全球首批非上市公司股票代币，包括 OpenAI 和 SpaceX 的代币。Robinhood EU 正在免费赠送 Open AI 和 Space X 的首批私人公司股票代币。如果是 Robinhood 欧盟用户且符合资格，则可以在应用内领取代币。
