据悉，小米16 Pro系列将采用横向大矩阵新Deco设计。这种设计使模组大概占据机身1/3的面积，并采用延伸感十足的全尺寸设计。而标准版设计基本保持不变，但手机一体性、质感均会升级。手机尺寸方面，小米16标准版和Pro版均为6.3英寸，而16 Pro Max为6.8英寸。此外，该博主还透露16系列标准版将不会采用潜望长焦镜头，而Pro系列将会搭载。
结合此前网络上的爆料，小米16或将搭载骁龙8至尊版2代移动平台，搭载7000mAh左右电池，支持100W有线充+80W无线充。除了新的影像模组设计外，16还有可能搭载新款传感器。此外，16系列或将首发澎湃OS 3.0，支持UWB超宽带技术。另外，16 Pro系列的矩形模组上，可能会将副屏重新启用。16 Pro Max可能会搭载定制6.85英寸2K直屏，支持LTPO+120HZ刷新率。该屏幕或将采用LIPO封装工艺，实现物理四窄边的视觉效果，边框控制或将超过苹果。
