BlockBeats 消息，7 月 4 日，据 Cointelegraph 报道，比利时布鲁塞尔刑事法院对一起加密货币相关绑架案作出判决，三名绑匪因 2024 年 12 月绑架当地加密企业家 Stéphane Winkel 的妻子并索要加密货币赎金，各获刑 12 年，同时需向受害者支付至少 100 万欧元民事赔偿。
报道称，案件主谋仍未落网。受害者虽被警方及时解救，但身心严重受创，导致 Winkel 夫妇被迫迁居。Winkel 是加密教育平台 Crypto Académie 创始人，其 YouTube 频道拥有 4 万订阅者。他在案发后表示将调整内容策略，侧重安全教育而非钱包实操演示。
