BlockBeats 消息，7 月 1 日，据 CNBC 报道，稳定币发行商 Circle(CRCL.K) 正申请在美国设立一家国家信托银行。本月早些时候，该公司通过首次公开募股实现近 180 亿美元估值，此次申请是其后续的关键动作。
若美国货币监理署（OCC）批准这一特许牌照，Circle 将能够作为自身储备金的托管方，并代表机构客户持有加密资产。但与传统银行不同，该牌照不允许 Circle 吸收现金存款或发放贷款。目前，加密货币平台 Anchorage Digital 是唯一拥有国家信托银行牌照的数字资产公司。
专家和分析师表示，一旦法案签署生效，可能为更多传统金融机构和零售商将稳定币纳入业务铺平道路。
