Northrop Grumman Corporation has announced a collaboration with ROMARM, a Romanian state-owned defense leader, to offer an advanced ground-based radar solution to the Romanian Air Force. This partnership aims to enhance the nation's security against sophisticated threats, providing interoperability with NATO countries' command-and-control systems, including those of the United States. The radar system will deliver long-range 360-degree surveillance and fire control for air and missile defense, supported by secure and interoperable software. Greg Teitelbaum, Northrop Grumman's vice president of land and maritime sensors, emphasized the significance of this industrial partnership in bolstering Romania's defense capabilities.
