South Korean entertainment giant HYBE (KRX:352820), the agency of the famous Korean pop group BTS, plans to open its office in India by October, The Korea Herald reported Monday.
Shares of the company rose nearly 3% in Tuesday morning trade.
The India office will be the company's fifth overseas subsidiary after Japan, the US, Latin America, and China. The move aligns with Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's strategy to globalize the K-pop production model, the report said.
