路透首尔7月4日 - 韩国企划财政部周五表示，经过一年的市场改革、开放在岸外汇市场后，目前已推出新措施，以提振延长市场交易时间内的外汇交易。
多年来，韩国一直在争取让全球指数提供商MSCI(明晟)将其划为发达市场。而MSCI认为外汇市场准入是阻碍外国投资的主要因素。
韩国企划财政部次官本周表示，政府计划成立一个工作组，争取获得发达市场地位。MSCI上个月在其年度审查中表示，将继续监测韩国的市场准入情况。
韩国的新措施包括对注册外国机构（RFI）实施每年平均1亿美元的交易要求，并将报告要求豁免期限延长六个月至今年年底。该1亿美元的要求将每三年进行一次审查。
企划财政部还表示，将继续努力为外国投资者和国内客户提供更便捷的外汇交易，并允许国内金融机构在人手不足的夜间时段进行算法交易。
将在岸韩元交易时间延长至凌晨2点以覆盖伦敦交易时段一周年之际，该部选择了五家机构作为领先的RFI，并对积极参与市场活动的机构进行奖励。(完)
