On Holding Takes a Page from Nike's Team Sports Strategy -- Market Talk

1649 ET - Like Nike, On Holding is looking to team sports as key to its medium- to long-term growth goals, Morgan Stanley analysts say in a note. Such a strategy is critical for expanding On's customer base, but Nike's resurgence and intense competition within sportswear could make its sports debut challenging and expensive, the analysts say. Management did not say which sports they plan to target, but soccer could be a good bet while golf and skiing could be too small, the analysts say. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
