Bombardier has received an order worth up to $4 billion from an anonymous first-time customer.

The Canadian aircraft maker said Monday it had agreed to provide 50 aircraft and a service agreement valued at $1.7 billion set to start being delivered in 2027. The deal also includes purchase options for 70 new aircraft, which, if exercised, would bring the agreement's value up to $4 billion.

The customer is remaining anonymous prior to unveiling their offering in the marketplace, Bombardier said.
