Minim has acquired a portfolio of intellectual property and fixed assets from Suzhou Yixuntong Network Technology for $1.4 million.

Software provider Minim said Wednesday the deal encompasses over 20 software copyrights and three core patents.

The assets include advanced product-authentication technologies, file-transfer systems for large video uploads and secure identity-verification solutions, the company said.

Minim entered and simultaneously closed the purchase agreement on June 30, the Hong Kong company said.

The move aims to help Minim expand its service offerings across both enterprise and consumer markets and create new revenue streams, the company said.
