DeFi Technologies Opens New Office in Dubai

DeFi Technologies (DEFT) said Thursday it has opened a new office in Dubai, UAE to support growing institutional interest in digital assets across the Middle East and North Africa region.

The company said it opened a trading desk at Dubai Multi Commodities Center through its subsidiary Valour and registered DEFI DMCC in Dubai.

Valour provides more than 65 digital assets via regulated exchange-traded products across European exchanges and plans to grow that number to 100 by the end of this year, the company said.

The move follows similar efforts in Turkey and East Africa, where DeFi Technologies is pursuing a cross-listing of its ETPs on the Nairobi Securities Exchange in partnership with GulfCap Investment Bank.
