Envirotech Vehicles Inc. has announced a significant milestone in its electric school bus initiative, following the receipt of a substantial grant under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Clean School Bus $(CSB)$ Program. This program, designed to replace existing fleets with zero-emission buses, awarded a total of $8,570,000 to support the production and distribution of 25 electric school buses. These funds are part of a broader $5 billion effort over five years, benefiting multiple organizations. Envirotech has already delivered four Bumble Bee electric school buses in the past 15 days and anticipates additional deliveries this year. The recent delivery to Kopperl Independent School District highlights the ongoing commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing air quality in school districts across Texas and Arkansas.
