Modelo brewer Constellation Brands said it expects President Trump's new tariffs to increase its costs by $20 million this fiscal year.

The Trump administration's 50% tariff on steel and aluminum imports-including beer cans-took effect on June 4. Constellation, which imports Modelo, Corona and Pacifico beers from Mexico, said it wouldn't be able to fully offset the increased cost.

The company reported a 6% drop in sales in the latest quarter, citing a pullback in spending by Hispanic consumers, and trimmed its forecast for full-year earnings per share.
