瑞银发表研究报告指，香港5月零售销售按年升2.4%至310亿港元，是14个月以来首次回升，好过该行的持平预期及市场预计的跌1.8%。该行料6月份零售销售将继续有低单位数升幅。政府数据显示，6月内地及国外访港旅客量分别升12%及10%，较5月有所放缓，但北上及出国旅游的人次则继续下跌。另外，政府公布粤车南下计划将于11月起接受申请，该行认为虽然首阶段100个名额相对较少，但相信日后名额增加，可吸引更多高消费的内地旅客，商场经营者如九龙仓置业等可直接受惠。 股份方面，该行认为5月零售销售好过预期，租户销售持续改善，有利于经营零售租赁的发展商，包括领展、新鸿基地产、九龙仓置业及希慎兴业。
