IT之家 7 月 3 日消息，近期谷歌Pixel 6A手机被曝电池过热易起火，引起外界关注。对此谷歌公司今天宣布，将于7月8日向相应机型推送一项强制更新以降低设备电池过热的风险。

根据官方支持页面的信息，本次更新将向所有 Pixel 6A 设备推送，不过只有被认定为“受影响批次”的机型，才会实际体验到电池管理方面的调整。

谷歌工程师 Alex Moriconi 表示，相应更新将会在“受影响批次”机型累计充电 400 次后降低电池容量。当这批手机完成 375 次充电循环时，系统会向用户发送通知，提醒新电池管理功能即将启用。一旦该功能生效，电池续航将会显著下降。

IT之家注意到，Pixel系列手机今年已多次出现电池相关问题。今年1月，谷歌曾推出一项更新，通过降低Pixel 4a的电池续航能力，以提高该2020年款手机的稳定性。4月，谷歌又针对Pixel 7a电池出现“膨胀”的情况，启动了一项维修和赔偿计划。
