Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) repurchased 318,061 shares on the London bourse on Tuesday at an average price of 9.0811 pounds sterling apiece, a Wednesday bourse filing said.
The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the transaction, Prudential will have 2,584,794,339 shares in issue.
