Sun Silver Logs Record Silver-Equivalent Grade Intercept From Drilling at Nevada Project; Shares Jump 10%

Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) said assays from the first drill hole for the 2025 exploration program at the Maverick Springs silver-gold project in Nevada returned the highest-grade silver-equivalent intercept ever recorded at the project at 10,548 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver-equivalent, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The company also encountered an intercept of 70.1 meters at 160 g/t of silver-equivalent, including 144.5 g/t grade of silver and 0.18 g/t grade of gold from 255.1 meters.

The assays also returned grades of antimony up to 8,895 parts per million, the filing said.

Sun Silver's shares advanced 10% in recent trading on Wednesday.
