Textron Aviation Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc., has announced that its Gogo Galileo HDX system is set to receive Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certification $(STC)$ by late 2025. This certification will allow for the aftermarket installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX on various Cessna Citation jet models. The certification process paves the way for advanced in-flight connectivity solutions, enhancing the flying experience with high-speed internet access. Following FAA approval, Textron plans to seek further certifications from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) to expand the system's availability internationally.
