BlockBeats 消息，7 月 2 日，据彭博社报道，摩根大通集团（JPMorgan Chase & Co.）正在开发一项将碳信用额度代币化的新服务，并已与三家碳信用公司合作进行初步试验。
根据周三的声明，该行旗下区块链部门 Onyx 将与标普全球大宗商品洞察（S&P Global Commodity Insights）、碳登记机构 EcoRegistry 和国际碳登记组织（International Carbon Registry）共同测试一款新应用，将三家机构监管登记系统中的碳信用额度转化为代币。各方将探索区块链技术能否应用于碳信用额度的全生命周期管理，包括从发行到注销的所有权追踪。
摩根大通在声明中表示，碳市场存在“效率低下、缺乏标准化、透明度不足和市场碎片化等挑战”，代币化技术的应用将带来显著益处。该行认为，构建“买卖双方可无缝转移碳信用额度”的统一代币化生态系统，将有助于解决这些问题。
