MacDonald 曾任职于英国司法部，并参与金融行动特别工作组（FATF）工作，后转战跨国金融与科技领域，致力于将监管经验转化为商业增长策略。他于 2024 年 9 月加入 Bybit，被任命为 Bybit 法律与合规负责人，目前已带领平台获得奥地利、阿联酋、土耳其、格鲁吉亚等地区牌照，用户数量从 3000 万增至 7000 万。
