TruBridge Inc. has announced a change in its certifying accountants, dismissing Grant Thornton LLP as its independent registered public accounting firm effective June 25, 2025. The decision follows adverse opinions issued by Grant Thornton on the effectiveness of TruBridge's internal control over financial reporting for both 2023 and 2024. The adverse opinions were due to material weaknesses identified in the company's procedures for processing customer contract changes and terminations in 2023, and issues related to revenue processes in 2024. Despite these findings, there were no disagreements between TruBridge and Grant Thornton regarding accounting principles, financial statement disclosures, or audit procedures. The company is currently in discussions with a successor accountant to address these concerns.
