泰国财政部长皮查伊（Pichai Chunhavajira）周一表示，泰国已向美国提交最新的贸易提案，力图阻止被其最大出口市场征收高额关税。

　　华盛顿威胁称，如果不能在7月9日之前通过谈判达成协议，将对从泰国进口的商品征收36%的关税。　去年美国占泰国出口额的18.3%，达549.6亿美元。美方则认为美国对泰国的贸易逆差为456亿美元。

　　“我们听取了他们的反馈，了解他们特别在意的内容，并进行了调整。”皮查伊说。他上周在谈判后已从华盛顿回国。　他表示未来还可能做出其他调整。

　　泰国去年对美国出口的前三大产品是电脑、电传打印机和电话机以及橡胶产品。泰国从美国进口的前三位产品分别是原油、机械和零部件以及化学品。

　　泰国国有能源巨头PTT集团在6月签署了一项协议，每年将从Glenfarne的阿拉斯加液化天然气（LNG）项目采购200万吨液化天然气，为期20年。
