Almonty Industries (ASX:AII) has voluntarily sought a trading halt for trading of its CHESS depositary interests representing outstanding common shares in the company which trade on the Australian Securities Exchange, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company said its shares will continue to trade as normal on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and the OTCQX market.

The halt will allow the preparation of the technical report under the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources, and Ore Reserves, or the JORC code.

The company expects that the JORC Code version of the technical report will be available shortly and will be released to the ASX once finalized.
