帕特・基辛格承认此前低估AI浪潮对英特尔影响，建议Rapidus差异化竞争
IT之家 7 月 5 日消息，前英特尔 CEO 帕特・基辛格早些时候以风投公司 Playground 普通合伙人的身份造访日本，在接受日媒采访时他谈论了对自身英特尔经历的看法并为日本先进半导体企业 Rapidus 给予了建议。
帕特・基辛格并不为其执掌英特尔时的“代工优先”路线感到后悔，如果重新开始仍将执行这一策略；但他也承认之前低估了 AI 浪潮对英特尔影响，对 AI 芯片（尤其是英伟达 GPU）的投资抑制了对传统服务器芯片的需求，导致英特尔财务状况恶化，这也是他离职的重要原因之一。
作为曾经领导过世界四大先进制程企业之一的过来人，帕特・基辛格称 Rapidus 如想追赶在执行纪律方面表现良好的台积电，则需要借助颠覆性的差异化技术。
帕特・基辛格批评了投资者仅关注季度业绩的行为。他表示这忽视了中长期战略的价值，也是推动初创企业实行两级股权结构以避免创始人被剥夺控制权的原因。
