快科技7月8日消息，微软又一次"不负众望"，忘记更新配置授权文件的过期时间，导致Windows 7用户无法正常检测更新。

Windows 7已于2020年1月结束所有主流支持和扩展安全支持，微软不再向该系统发布新的安全更新。

不过用户仍可手动检查并安装以前发布的更新，以解决某些BUG和安全漏洞。

在7月1日，部分Windows 7用户在检查更新时遭遇了"无法搜索到新更新：检查计算机的新更新时发生错误，Error 80248015"的问题。

而出现这个问题的根源，其实是微软忘记更新XML配置授权文件的过期时间，此次授权文件过期时间是2025年7月1日，该文件位于名为v6-muauth.cab的压缩文件内，主要用于为文件附加数字签名，防止中间人劫持。

值得一提的是，微软在2017年12月1日也曾因相同原因，导致用户无法检查和安装更新，当时问题持续了一段时间后才得以解决。

此次问题发生后，微软于2025年7月2日19:32（太平洋时间）更新了授权文件，将其过期时间延长至2033年7月1日，不知道到时候还会不会出现相同的问题。
