IT之家 7 月 7 日消息，HEPiX 是一个聚焦高能物理与计算交叉领域的全球性组织。而根据 X 平台消息人士 X86 is dead&back (@x86deadandback) 的挖掘，HEPiX 的技术跟踪工作组在一份报告中表示英特尔的下一代至强性能核处理器 "Diamond Rapids" 将采用 Intel 18A 工艺，通过四个计算模块扩展到至高 192 核。

该报告提到了一系列已有报道 / 传闻的 "Diamond Rapids" 处理器情况，如计划 2026 年推出、平台代号 Oak Stream、分为 8 通道和 16 通道双版本、支持 PCIe Gen6，不过 500W 的 TDP 数据不太符合一般预测和此前行业信息。

而新的重要信息包括 "Diamond Rapids" 的制程和最大核心数量情况，以及该系列处理器不再支持八路 (8S) 配置、AMX 硬件单元原生支持 TF32 与 FP8 数据格式。

这份报告还提到英特尔的下一代至强能效核处理器 "Clearwater Forest" 支持 DDR5-7200 内存速率。
