LONDON, July 7 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline profit margins fell on Monday by $1.08 to $13.83 a barrel.
A total of 16,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded, as BP and Trafigura sold to Gunvor, Aramco and TotalEnergies.
An additional 11,000 tons on Eurobob E10 barges also traded, with Shell, Sahara and Gunvor selling to Exxon Mobil, Varo, Trafigura, and TotalEnergies.
"The Aug/Sep EBOB spread has already gained $3 per metric ton since we said it looked like a buy at the end of last week. ARA inventories have been seen declining steadily in recent weeks, and soft TC2 rates aligned with a steady gas-nap spread have been keeping export economics well-supported," said Sparta Commodities analyst Philip Jones-Lux.
India - the world's third-largest consumer and importer of oil - saw sales of gasoline fall 6.9% to 3.52 million tons in June from May, but sales were up 6.7% from levels seen a year ago.
EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports to other regions averaged 362,000 barrels per day (bpd) so far in July, compared to the 914,000 bpd in June, Kpler data showed.
