花旗在最新研报中写道，当前市场行情正呈现典型的“金发姑娘”特征——风险偏好升温，股票、信贷和科技板块表现强劲，但债券市场表现相对温和。该行认为在“金发姑娘”市场环境中黄金通常表现不佳，而科技股和成长型股票是主要受益者。“金发姑娘”是指经济适度增长、通胀温和的理想宏观环境。花旗分析，“金发姑娘”通胀受抑制的环境意味着黄金失去避险吸引力并表现不佳。同时经济增长环境可能推高实际收益率和期限溢价，抬升增加黄金的持有成本。此外，数据显示，在历史“金发姑娘”时期，黄金的风险回报比（夏普比率）显著转负。
