凤凰网科技讯 7月11日，理想汽车创始人、CEO李想发文表示，理想i8将于7月17日正式开启预定，7月18日在全国各城市启动巡展，展车将陆续进驻门店。李想同时分享了对于该市场的核心洞察，强调了“三排六座”布局在特定家庭场景下的刚需属性。
他表示，中国拥有两个孩子的家庭，对三排六座车型的需求强烈，而智能纯电SUV领域内可选车型有限。
如果选择与长辈、孩子共同出行时，三排六座的空间布局成为刚需。
此外，还与BBA等豪华品牌用户的“增换购”有关联。过往，购买35-40万价位理想汽车车主，很大比例(BBA用户比例经常超过50%)都来源于此。
李想还认为，用户对理想i8融合“SUV的通过性、MPV的空间舒适性、轿车的驾驶感”的理念表示认可。
