STOCKHOLM--Atlas Copco said it would acquire a 70% stake in Chinese purification equipment manufacturer Shanghai Shareway Environment Technology.

The Chinese company mainly produces equipment to treat waste gases from semiconductor and solar-panel manufacturing, employing 320 people. It reported 2024 revenue of around 630 million yuan ($87.7 million).

The deal is expected to close during the third quarter.
