Shares of technology companies rose amid artificial-intelligence momentum.

AI-enabling chip maker Nvidia became the first U.S. company in history to hit a $4 trillion valuation, according to Dow Jones Market Data.

Copper tariffs could increase the cost of data-center development, potentially slowing the building of AI infrastructure, analysts warned.

Apple Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams will step down from his role after roughly a decade as Chief Executive Tim Cook's lieutenant.
